The venue operations dashboard can be accessed from the top navigation bar.

This screen combines:

  • Running test games

  • Training module summary

  • Current maintenance items

  • Inventory summary

  • Daily tasks

  • Upcoming events

  • Staff Birthdays and Anniversaries

  • Google reviews

  • Goals

Into one screen that allows you to quickly identify what needs to be done in the venue.

This dashboard is perfect for slower shifts during the week, when employees can focus on things like cleaning, training, and catching up with venue maintenance.

If you need more details about any of these sections, clicking in the top right corner of any of these boxes will bring you to the corresponding dedicated page.

Goals

Create goals around rebookings or reviews for your venue. Give them a name and custom dates. Previous goals will appear in ‘Inactive Goals’ for comparison over time.

Test Games

The Test Games section gives you a quick way to run a game outside of your normal booking flow, no customer booking required. This is useful for:

  • Checking that a room is working correctly after maintenance, a reset, or a new puzzle installation

  • Training new Game Masters so they can learn the hint system, game controls, and room flow before running a real group

  • Testing Playbook Actions and device triggers to confirm automations are firing correctly

  • Verifying cameras and audio are connected and displaying properly before opening for the day

How to Run a Test Game

  1. Open the Venue Operations Dashboard from the top navigation bar

  2. Find the Test Games section

  3. Click the game you want to test — this will launch the game in the Game Master view without requiring a booking to be claimed

  4. Run the game as you normally would — you can start the timer, send hints, trigger Playbook Actions, and test all controls

  5. When finished, end the game as normal

What to Check During a Test Game

Here's a quick checklist to run through when testing a room:

  • Timer starts and counts down correctly

  • Hints display properly on the countdown screen

  • Cameras are showing a live picture (no black screens)

  • Audio (if enabled) is working in the room

  • Playbook Actions fire as expected when triggered

  • Game control resets the room correctly at the end

If anything isn't working as expected during a test game, refer to the relevant help article for that feature, or contact support@drawbridgesolutions.com.

Training

A quick summary of who has incomplete training items and what those items are.

Maintenance

View maintenance issues logged in the venue. See who submitted them and when. Log new issues or add notes to old ones. Mark issues as fixed when they’ve been completed.

Inventory

A smaller version of the inventory menu that allows quick access to update item quantity or information.

Tasks

View all tasks for the day and sign them off.

Upcoming Events

This chart shows all bookings coming up that are above the threshold you’ve set under venue events in general settings. It will also automatically show any bookings with the labels you’ve selected on the same settings page.

The chart shows date and time for each upcoming event as well as what type of event it is, money paid or due, number of guests, and any notes in the booking. This can be helpful to review weekly to make sure prep is done for any large events.

Birthdays & Anniversaries

If timekeeping is integrated, this will pull data for work anniversaries as well as upcoming birthdays. Will show date of birthday, but not year.

Reviews

Link with Google to see recent reviews for your business and auto generate replies. These replies can be sent from this screen and then get posted publicly on Google. If desired, replies can be sent automatically. Reply prompt and linking your Google account can be found in settings under Reviews. More info on setting up Google integration can be found here.
